Kos

One of the army of Greek party islands, Kos is a place you have to go to if you take holidaying seriously. If you’re skilled in the art of lively holidays then you may already be eyeing it up. If you haven’t yet then we suggest you adopt our take on Club 18-30 resorts. We see them like Pokemon, you’ve got to get them all and Summer 2012 is as good a year as any to get stuck into Kardemena.

Don’t be fooled by Kardemena’s laid back look on arrival though, come nightfall its livelier than a tramp at a busy cashpoint. Bar Street has everything from indie to dance and karaoke to urban anthems and we are more than happy to help if there’s just too much choice for you. The music stopping isn’t your cue to go home, though. Far from it. It just means it’s time to choose between the superclubs, such as Status and Starlight. They may bang out the tunes you’re desperate to hear but they don’t rest on their laurels. There’s foam, popcorn, water and more recently glow parties which have people queuing round the corner. Add to this some of Europe’s biggest promoters and club nights and it’s so far so good, right?

Like we said before, Kardemena in the daytime is enough to relax anyone from a third year student to a single mother of 112. Nip down to Scala restaurant for some incredible Greek food and take in the harbour if you want to make the most of your expensive camera that you’ve only ever used to take snaps of your drunk mates. Or you could go to Starlight Beach Club and be sure to order a raspberry mojito, one that even Carrie Bradshaw would be proud of. If all this sounds like a holiday fit for your parents then don’t worry. Sack off the blissful surroundings and crack on with jet skis, banana boats or paragliding down on Kardemena beach. Either that or come on our very own Kos events, including Status Cruise, which is the ultimate beach party with top DJs, great giveaways and a day you’ll never forget.

Unlike most resorts, you don’t have to go far good food and good shopping. Kardemena has plenty of places to buy things your parents and friends will pretend to like and put in a cupboard., so you don’t need to waste anymore time than is necessary before you get back to enjoying what Kos is really all about; having good times.
