If you like senoritas, Sol and sunshine on the Spanish side of the Med, then you’ve probably already weighed up a holiday to Mallorca. An island of unadulterated fun and thousands of party goers means you should probably stop weighing and start packing. Unlike most holiday islands, there’s two resorts to choose from. Palma Nova and Magaluf are the two equally good places on offer, so you can decide whether you’re team Nova or team ‘Luf. Neither is a vampire or a werewolf, and someone won’t be fired by Alan Sugar at the end of each night but you are guaranteed a different amazing experience every single night. It’s not quite what Charles Dickens was writing about when he penned ‘A Tale of Two Cities’but then who needs French peasantry and unrequited love. Not when you’ve got beautiful people and amazing nights out.

Mallorca is a great place to sunbathe your way out of rush hour stress and unanswered emails and you’ll have forgotten deadlines within minutes of setting foot on the island. Palma Nova beach has miles of sands to find your own getaway and all sorts of jet skis and water sports for the adrenaline junkies. It is hard, though, to mention things to do in Magaluf without mentioning Pirates. Before you panic, they aren’t real or even of the Somalian variety. You won’t be pillaged by One eyed willy and we can’t promise Jonny Depp. Sorry ladies. Pirates Uncut is a phenomenally impressive acrobatic show, with dancing, comedy, and plaenty of Sangria. If they could stomach Piers Morgan, they would walk Britain’s Got Talent. Oh and if they were British. IF that’s not enough we throw our very own Pirates afterparty which is almost as famous as the show. Not to be missed.

Mallorca can be a neverending luxury trip or a non stop party destination. Or more likely, it'll be like when you go to Toby Carvery and they offer you beef or chicken, “A bit of both please”. Bars like Boomerangs and Bananas are famous across Europe and are just a couple of many cool bars to keep you awake all night. A quick youtube of Magaluf or Palma Nova will show you it isn’t for the faint hearted. If you’re our type of person, it will also have you reaching for the phone to book up. 20 years of hedonists and 10,000 people a year can’t be wrong. If you haven’t been to Mallorca yet then we recommend you tick if off your list for 2012.
