Rhodes

One glance on the forums or a cheeky browse on Facebook and you will know that Rhodes is definitely back, proving the old saying that form is temporary but class is indeed permanent. Summer 2012 looks like it is going to be even bigger than last year, rapidly heading towards another sell out. At the moment, it kind of sounds like the Take That story and much like the boys, we hope it’s Back for Good. Unlike Take That, though, Rhodes isn’t a complete sausage party.

Faliraki is unapologetically fun. It is renowned for some of the best events in Europe and the departure lounge out of Rhodes is always a sad place to be, especially when you’ve come with Club 18-30. It’s fashionable enough that people love to dress to impress, but not so fashionista you’re scared to smile in case you lose your credibility. The Chinese whispers of a legendary Beach Party from 2010 are still doing the rounds and a bold claim to the best Silent Arena event across all our resorts both seem pretty substantiated when you have a look on our Facebook page.

Faliraki is famous for its ‘Bar Street’ and ‘Club Street’ setup and it really does exactly what it says on the tin. Bar Street is where everyone heads to start their night in style, taking in a 360 degree music policy and getting well on their way before being ready to move. Where do you move on? Club Street obviously. Sadly not all streets are as straight forward and as informative as Faliraki as a disappointed visit to dragon lane revealed recently. Club street, however doesn’t disappoint and keeps the party going right into the early hours and it makes it easy if you’re trying to find someone you think you made eye contact with earlier. You know exactly where they’ll be! Although, they might just have a squint.

Faliraki Parties include chill out cruises, boat parties, and one of Greece’s best loved beaches are all right on Faliraki’s doorstep and you can even nip on a bus to Rhodes Town to buy some ‘trinkets’ for your Gran, to hide the fact you spent all night listening to the best Summer tunes. Now that this Colussus has regained its rightful place as the best party island, it really is time to head back to Faliraki for a holiday you will Never Forget (Take That song remember, go back to the first paragraph).
